Early Words Together at 2

Early Words Together at 2 is a play-based session to support your child’s early literacy. Each week, we share tips and explore the learning benefits of creative activities, books, songs, and rhymes.

Why Early Words Together is beneficial:

  • Helps develop your child’s early communication and language skills.

  • Builds confidence through play, stories, and shared activities.

  • Supports early bonding and gives you practical ideas to use at home.

  • Encourages a love of reading before your child even starts nursery or school.

Who should come:
These sessions are perfect for parents and carers of 2-year-olds who want to:

  • Support their child’s speech, language, and early learning.

  • Build confidence in sharing stories, songs, and play.

  • Learn simple, fun activities that make a big difference at home.

How our Early Years Practitioners support you:
Our trained EY practitioners guide you through each activity, offering tips tailored to your child’s stage of development. They can also help identify areas where your child may benefit from additional support and, if needed, signpost or refer you to other local services.

Sessions run in 4-week blocks and take place weekly on Monday mornings.

Pop in and check it out!

The final sessions for this term have already started, but you’re welcome to join us for a taster session to see what it’s all about before deciding whether you’d like to join next term.
