Sickness Policy

We follow the guidance from Public Health England and the NHS. Check the NHS website for guidance, The NHS website has guidance on when to keep your child at home, home treatment and when to seek medical advice. Find out more here: Is my child too unwell for school or nursery?

If your child has had vomiting and diarrhoea they should not return to nursery or school for at least 48 hours since the last time they experienced vomiting or diarrhoea.

You should also keep your child home if they have the following illnesses or symptoms: High Temperature, Chicken Pox, Impetigo, Scarlet fever.
