Celebrate International Men’s Day at 1st Place

Tomorrow we’re marking International Men’s Day at 1st Place Family Hub! This special event celebrates dads, grandads, uncles, and male carers who make a difference every day. It’s also about raising awareness of men’s mental health and wellbeing. 

International Men’s Day is all about recognising the positive role men play in families and communities and we want to make sure dads feel supported all year round. 

Join us for: 
✔ Meet award-winning children’s author Ken Wilson-Max 
✔ Free health checks 
✔ Games, activities, food & refreshments

We also run regular Fathers & Male Carers Stay & Play sessions, fun, relaxed drop-ins where you can spend quality time with your child and meet other dads and Fathers’ Group, giving dads space to share experiences, learn tips, and build confidence in supporting their child’s development. 

Fathers & Male Carers Stay & Play sessions (indoor/outdoor play, sensory room, meet other dads):
