When School Mornings Feel Overwhelming
If school mornings have been feeling a bit overwhelming lately, you’re not alone.
For some families, it can start with small changes, reluctance to get dressed, complaints of feeling unwell, or worries that are hard to explain.
Maybe it’s anxiety, big feelings, or something your child doesn’t yet have the words for.
But it’s not always just about the child.
You might be running on empty, trying your best but feeling completely drained. When you’re exhausted, low, or overwhelmed, even something as routine as the school run can start to feel like too much, and that’s okay to admit.
These situations are more common than people realise, but they can feel incredibly isolating when you’re going through them.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
A space for support
The parent/carer support circle offers a relaxed and understanding space where you can talk honestly about what’s been going on.
Whether your child is struggling with school attendance, or you’re feeling overwhelmed trying to hold everything together, this space is for you.
There’s no judgement and no pressure, just a chance to talk, feel heard, and pick up simple, practical ways to support both your child’s wellbeing and your own.
You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other parents and carers who may be going through similar experiences.
Who is it for?
This session is for parents and carers of children in KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6).
