Nursery children mark Black History Month

As part of Black History Month, our nursery children have enjoyed a wide range of activities including singing, dancing, drumming, stories, arts and crafts, exploring different fruits and vegetables at a local market, and cooking and tasting different dishes. Our children have also been learning about black and African history by exploring content from the Kids Black History YouTube channel. We are so proud of our children’s enthusiasm for learning and their eagerness to share their thoughts and ideas.

A big thank you to the staff and parents/carers who led virtual activities to help us mark Black History month. If you are a 1st Place nursery parent/carer and would like to get involved, please do get in touch with your nursery directly. We would love to hear from you!
