Early Educator (Bank)
Salary: £11.92 - £12.43 per hour
Hours: Bank/flexible hours

Summary:
We require Assistant Early Educators (level 2 qualified) and Early Educators (level 3 qualified) as bank staff to cover sickness and holidays.
Full time employees who work 36 hours per week, can also do bank work if they wish to increase their hours.

The Role
To deliver an enhanced and targeted support offer focussing parents and carers of children aged 0-2 to promote positive perinatal mental health & parent-infant relationships
To support access to and improve accessibility of services in particular for seldom seen communities.
To work in collaboration with the Healthy Minds Thrive team, to improve access to services supporting perinatal mental health and infant relationships.
To be part of a Family Services team that delivers universal and targeted activities to improve outcomes for children and their families.
To take a collaborative approach to multi-agency partnerships so that children and family’s needs are met in a holistic way.
To lead on group sessions for children and families including outside of ordinary working hours and weekends from family Hubs and a range of community venues
To promote and facilitate access to the Family Hubs programme engaging parents focussing on their children with appropriate activities to meet their needs, particularly those identified as in need of additional support

1st Place Family Hub are recruiting for a new Fathers & Male Carers Community Wellbeing Champion. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working within the Borough Bankside & Walworth area of Southwark. As this role will be working specifically with fathers and male carers there is a genuine occupational reason that we are looking to appoint a male person to this role.
