At 1st Place we know that bringing up young children can be difficult, and at times, can feel overwhelming. Whatever your situation, we are here to help.

Activities

The early years of a child’s life are the most important phase of their development and at 1st Place, we provide a wide range of opportunities for you and your child to learn through play from birth to when your child goes to nursery or school.

Learning

If you are a parent with a child under five years of age and are looking for the chance to develop your skills and knowledge, 1st Place can help. From English classes to parenting courses, we have free courses and training opportunities to develop your skills in supporting your child or to help you return to work or education. We also provide a free creche when you attend.

Support

Bringing up children is not easy and all parents struggle at times. Whatever the challenge, we are here to help. At 1st Place, as well as having our own Family Support team, we work with a range of local professionals who can provide advice and support.

Crèche

While you are training or attending a course we can care for your child in our crèche. Our dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff will provide lots of stimulating activities and a warm welcoming environment, so you can relax and concentrate on your learning.

Community Spaces
